DO’S AND DON’TS

DO’S
1. Abide by NH boating rules. In narrow, shallow inlets go out and return at slow (no wake) speeds. You are responsible for your wake in all situations – It’s the law!
2. Fishing – Pine River Pond is a state lake and as such NH regulations apply. Please pick up a copy of regs when purchasing a fishing license.
3. Leash law in effect.
4. Purchase dump permit at the Town Hall in Sanbornville & dispose of trash properly.
5. Campfires – you must obtain a permit from fire warden at Sanbornville Fire Station (no charge).
6. IMPORTANT – remove all plants from boats, trailers, and fishing tackle before launching & when taking boats out of the lake. Its New Hampshire law – Milfoil & other invasive plants can destroy lake use for all.

DON’T’S
1. No ski craft (state ban in force on PRP). PWC’s that carry 3 or more persons are allowed.
2. No washing or shampooing in or near the lake.
3. No public launch. Do not give approval to an outsider to use your launch unless you supervise/have Milfoil signs at launch site. Milfoil travels from lake to lake on boats & trailers, destroys lake use & property values nosedive!
4. No excessive noise: OWNERS – RENTERS- VISITORS, please be considerate of your neighbors. Have fun & just be aware that there are families & small children in the area! Please turn down music & flood lights after dark.
5. No ATV’s allowed on any private land or area roads without written permission of owner. It’s the law!
